The other day I posted our precious Baby Cat was missing. When we got home last Sunday she wasn’t in the barn. All last week husband looked high and low for that silly cat. He called the neighbors, we looked through the cemetery across the road, we went to the pound, and we still couldn’t find her. Finally Thursday night as I drove to Nebraska I got a text with this picture,
Baby Cat was in the barn at our old house. We still have not sold the Winner’s Circle so we are still using the barns and arena down there. Husband keeps his roping steers and horses down there. It works great for me, it is only about two miles apart. By the time I ride down to the arena my horses are warmed up and ready to practice. Anyways Baby Cat we have decided is pretty amazing yes it is only two miles straight east, however how did she know it was straight east? How did she know it was only two miles? Anyways Husband was ecstatic to find his precious cat.
I guess she likes this barn better.
Husband took her home, gave her a bath, bought her a flea collar, bought her a collar with her phone number, gave her a bath, warmed up milk for her tummy, bought a case of canned cat food, and whispered sweet nothings in her silky smooth ear. He kept her in the house for a couple nights then took her back out to the barn. But then as we were watching a movie we heard a blood curdling yowl. We rushed to put our shoes on and ran to the barn. As we were running Husband saw a a big black cat sprinting across the pasture. When we found baby cat she was bleeding from a few bites, and also looks like she may have gotten a few toenails pulled out. Well now we know why she left, Husband was fired up mad. He again brought Baby Cat to the house. Then first thing this morning he went out and found a live trap.

Hopefully tomorrow morning we will have a big black Tom cat in this cage.
